23-Hour Crisis Stabilization

IRIE provides compassionate, short-term support for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis through our Community-Based Crisis Stabilization Clinic. This service offers up to 23 hours of care focused on safety, assessment, and emotional stabilization in a calm and supportive environment. Available 24/7, our team helps individuals navigate moments of acute distress while determining the most appropriate next steps for care—whether that means continued community support or referral to a higher level of treatment.

During this time, clients receive comprehensive assessment, observation, and stabilization services designed to meet their immediate needs and connect them with the right resources. Our goal is to provide timely, person-centered support that promotes recovery and prevents unnecessary hospitalization whenever possible.

Community Stabilization Services

IRIE’s Community Stabilization Services provide short-term, compassionate support for individuals and families following a behavioral health crisis or as an alternative to hospitalization. This service is designed to help clients regain stability and connect with the right level of ongoing care within their own community.

Our team meets clients where they are—offering care in their natural environment to promote comfort and continuity. Services may include brief therapeutic and skill-building interventions, crisis de-escalation, and engagement with family or natural support systems to encourage lasting stability. We also coordinate referrals to community resources, specialized services, and follow-up care to ensure each individual receives the comprehensive support they need.

At IRIE, we advocate for our clients every step of the way—linking them to programs, benefits, and supports that foster recovery, independence, and wellness beyond the crisis.
